SECRETARY GENERAL/CEO

MARIA ANTONIETTA MARUCA
Maria Maruca With over twenty years business experience covering a variety of roles marketing, public relations, events, travel consultant, retailer, buyer, wholesaler and manager and with an extensive knowledge of bilateral trade between Italy and Australia, Maria Maruca has been working at the Chamber since 2001 and took over the role of Secretary General in 2003. An organised and effective project manager, Maria developed a three-year business plan which has made ICCI one of the most pro-active chambers in Queensland and is currently developing a strategic plan for the next five years. Maria sits on the ICCI Board of Councillors and is the Public Officer of the Chamber.

FRANCESCO PRESACCO
Francesco Presacco
Joined the Chamber in February 2007. He has a MBA in International Business and a Bachelor of Business majoring in International Business & Marketing, both from USC. An expert in market research and strategies, Francesco is responsible for all trade enquiries as well as the organisation of events and logistics. His previous work experience in Italy combined with his studies in Australia has ensured that all customers receive the very best solution to their needs. Francesco has facilitated thousands of business collaborations in both countries.
TRADE OFFICER

BORIS BIVONA
Boris Bivona With over four years experience at the Chamber, Boris is our translation and interpreting expert as well as our membership officer. With a particular focus on Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Boris€™ role allows him to be in constant contact with our members which helps us to identify what their needs may be in order to increase our quality of service. Formerly from Italy, Boris is also a great source of information which assists companies who are looking to do business in both countries.
ACCOUNTS ANDREA O'CONNOR
Andrea looks after the general administration of our accounts.

INTERNS EIGHT STUDENTS PER ANNUM
The Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry offers international business students from universities in both Italy and Australia, the opportunity to have a hands-on experience in this sector. We grant eight internships per annum.
