Anyone can be a member of ICCI. Our membership base consists of: individual businesses, corporate bodies, government representatives, individual professionals, cultural associations, special business agencies, as well as any individual who has an interest in the Italian business culture and network. Membership is open to all who abide by the Chambers objectives.

150TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ITALIAN UNIFICATION
In occasion of the 150th Anniversary of the Unification of Italy, ICCI Qld organised a unique event that was attended by more than 200 guests. Among them there were important members of Institutions and local Entrepreneurs.
Guest of Honour was the
Ambassador of Italy in Australia, His Excellency Gianludovico de Martino di Montegiordano, who reminded the guests of all the shared values just as social cohesion and the spirit of belonging which led Italy to Unification
The same concept was shared by the political leaders who attended. Among them the Hon. Anna Bligh, the Premier of Queensland, who was satisfied of the firm economic and social commitment between the Italian and the Queenslander communities.

20th WORLD CONVENTION FOREIGN ITALIAN CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE
Launching new initiatives aimed at promoting the Made in Italy brand abroad and opening up opportunities for Italian businesses outside Europe. These are the goals that will be discussed at the 20th International Conference of the Italian Chambers of Commerce to be held in Naples.
 Delegations of 75 Italian Chambers of Commerce from 50 countries will attend the conference at the headquarters of the Naples Chamber of Commerce, during which bilateral meetings with representatives of local companies will also be held to assess opportunities for cooperation aimed at consolidating the presence of Italian products in foreign markets and promoting trade. Key issues on the agenda of the conference include the promotion of tourism which will also be discussed during a public debate at the San Carlo theatre on October 24.
ICCI Qld President, Comm. The Hon. Santo Santoro, will be attending the convention.
The event, that is organised by the Chamber of Commerce's EU office, in cooperation with Assocamerestero and Unioncamere, will also provide an opportunity to take stock of the development of the Italian network of the Chambers of Commerce operating abroad and their activities.
